Got to say Pink Floyd are by far the best band ive seen in concert eva!
3 times i saw them live and every time they were amazing, the laser and light shows were the best ( well i did also see "Jean Michel Jarre", his light show was bigger, but music shit so doesnt count)..

Yea they were/are a bunch of mad dogs, some of them met while studyin at Cambridge! So i guess posh mad dogs:)

yea im guessin they are a tribute band, Russia and co are like 10 years behind when it come to music,, most big bands only play there when broke, because no one else wants them anymore, so they go there for a pay off to retirement:sarcastic

Sasha, if you meet & see some original members of PF in concert: enjoy! cause they should be very good musicians and it should be a real adventure, like woopie said.
I had only once the opportunity in my life to see them: on their "Animals" tour, but I cancelled that because I found that album bulshit those days (and forgot that they might play some older songs) From the title I think "Be careful with that Axe, Eugene (or was it eggs? :D) most funny, of course I love those classics everybody knows.

The Australian Pink Floyd Show (http://www.aussiefloyd.com/) are the Pink Floyd tribute act. They have grown in the last few years to become a big name in their own right globally.
They tour regularly playing large venues with production and ticket prices to suit. Usually they sell out well in advance despite the price. This year they played two consecutive dates at the RAH in London.

The only other tribute act I can think of that ever came close to this level of success was Abba band Bjorn Again.
