yes I have a friend in Novasibirsk whom I have know for a long time so I have to go visit him. and my Ex-wife is from Chelyabinsk so I am taking my daughter there to see many of her Russian family for the 1st time. (her great grandma doesnt have long to live so my ex-asked me to bring her with me).

My Russian is rusty because the only time I speak it is when I speak to my daugher, so hopefully it will be good enough to get by on.

thanks for the information on the weather, although it was not what i wanted to here it's better to have the truth. I live about 10 minutes from South Miami beach in Florida so if it get down to 15.5 Celsius we put on warm jackets and act like it is winter. will have to buy some clothes i guess.

thanks Masha and great site you are beautiful.

Thank you :)
I think the best thing you can buy is a ski jacket.

What a nice story! Her great grandma will be so happy :)

I have bands come from across the 'pond' all the time and they think I'm nuts just wearing a T-shirt (maybe I am :crazy ).
The UK's positively mild compared to russia - good luck scrredd

In contrast I have been over to Florida and Texas recently and nearly melted :fire

thats the problem. the hot weather doesnt affect us because we are used to it, but if we go somewhere that is cold we are done in. some say our blood is thinner from being in heat all of the time.

i went to mexico though for 2 months to chill out and it was even hotter than here. i even got too hot.

i am not used to wearing anything other than shorts havent worn shoes (only sandals) and shorts with t-shirt in a year or more.

i am going to take masha's advice and order a ski jacket. cant buy one in a store here so i will have to order it. no need for them here

Best order yourself some thermal socks while you're at it. Nothing worse than cold feet
