Hello guys!! Here I want to tell abt some ineteresting things or u can post whatever u want in this Thread :))
I want to tell u abt Mission to Mars by Nasa!!! hammersmaspeace:eek:
Sorry my english, I would be brevity :thumbsup
Maybe u know that cosmic apparatus named "Phoenix" have a success & now this device is on Mars planet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (near 4 or 5 days ago it arrived to a Red planet!!!!!!!!!!!!!) People can see real truth picture abt Marsian's ground!!! That is soooo magic!!!!! Millions miles away from here :eek::eek:hammersmashammersmashammersmas :thumbsup
U can see picture online from Mars on this site, it is official site of Nasa, I found that in weekipedia (Chmoki Jamie!!) :
http://www.nasa.gov/ :thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup
U can find many interesting information there & pictures of planets & most of that u can see fresh good-quality pictures of Marsian's ground!!!!!!!!
Just imagine - 21 century & later people will go to Mars I'm sure!!!! (but I will deadman, but it's not so bad if I know that people very soon will know abt univers much more & will fly to other planets & galactics!! :thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsuphammersmas he he)
Radio-signal from Mars have 15 mins of time, befor it gets Earth..
I suppose they will show new pictures from Mars every 15 mins :))

This image, released on America's Memorial Day, May 26, 2008, shows the American flag and a mini-DVD on the Phoenix's deck, which is about 3 feet above the Martian surface. The mini-DVD from the Planetary Society contains a message to future Martian explorers, science fiction stories and art inspired by the Red Planet, and the names of more than a quarter million Earthlings.

geez thanks NASA......now a quarter million Earthlings will have identity theft happen to them when the Martians come hammersmas

This image, one of the first captured by NASA's Phoenix Mars Lander, shows the vast plains of the northern polar region of Mars. The flat landscape is strewn with tiny pebbles and shows polygonal cracking, a pattern seen widely in Martian high latitudes and also observed in permafrost terrains on Earth. The polygonal cracking is believed to have resulted from seasonal contraction and expansion of surface ice.

theme: "Life on Mars"/"Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders From Mars" (David Bowie)
whe I look to the pics, all reminds me of some places in Egypt, so I feel flora/fauna & ground constitution not so inviting; so what is the background of human research om Mars/Moon etc.? Maybe the same reason as the American engagement in Iraque ( some areas there look quite similar to Mars)?? I strongly suppose an interest in ground-resources (the uranium-sources on Earth are said to be sufficient for about 50-60 yrs nowadays e.g...??) Fortunately there is/was no campaign like "free the Marsians" or "destroy there weapons of mass-destruction"
but- to tell the truth- such missions still catch me & my basic instincts for exploring foreign territories; on the other hand: the older I get the stronger I feel increasing the slight idea of not REALLY knowing my closest environment!?!
Jamie: many thanks 4 the sharp Mars-pictures you took from th beach of your hometown, & a question to my friend Whoopy for sharing a pic with the guy he met in the bar last weekend...
cheerz!
P.S. Ivy! I wonder why you show so few interest in the Man on Mars... chmok

Yes, truly amazing! :)

It must have been agonising waiting to know if the thing you spent 10 years of your life working on had landed successfully or not.

But I'm afraid we are all fools. Clearly in those fifteen minutes after it landed our bald green friends took it and put it in a huge room full of red dust and rocks (just like they did with the other missions). Obviously now they're on their way over to us. Probably in the next day or so....

Hmm, I realy believe that the "Phoenix" is on Mars now!! & btw, on this week it found ice under red ground!! Little parts of ice!!!!!! People from Nasa thought that it is salt, but latest checks have shown that it is real ice!!!
But they told, that it is not mean, that there has a life.. But maybe people from Earth can bring life to Mars soon?? southpark

( U surprised why it's interesting to me? my father teach me abt Astrology, when I was very young, I know how to find Mars on the night's sky (when it's winter - it's very easy) & Venus; I can find easy on the sky constellations of "swan" & "South cross" & "Persey & Adromeda" on summer sky, (father can see all constellations on the sky & tell names of the most bright stars in this constellations, my memory not so good :(( He had expensive, big telescope on the balkony, so we r enjoed of beatifull visions of Moon's craters & rings of Saturn, what u can see one time in many years, (when rings have special slope (tilt), alctually all that looks very little, that was an old telescope, but I was very exited to see it all the time. The names of Marcians sputnics Fobos & Daymos I know since 4 years old, he he :)) & also one of my first books in my life, when I was very little, was Rey Bredberry "Marcian's hronicals" & "Abt wandering eternal & abt Earth" (sorry if I lost in translations of name of the books) & all his stories, btw, this guy - Rey Bredberry still one of my fav wrighters what I ever read :thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

PS. Picture made of Phoenix, Mars'08 hammersmas

The latest info from Mars is that there's water there. That's probably the most significant find so far.

WOW, the hottest female on the Internet is interested in science. My dream girl. You were already that, but damn, girl!

Hmmm, let's see. Mars or...Most delicious woman on the Internet. What a choice! And now we can have both. To reiterate: WOW.
