broken live shows and broken links.....

Hey Dear,

sorry to bother you with problems again... but all members are affected!

- Live shows suffer cuz of connection speed
- Live shows always need to be restarted most of the time within a live session
- Live shows don't resume after restart cause webserver is not available
- Homepage links aren't accessible, like currently "http://www.mashaworld.com/private/2004/011/2/images.zip"

well, this is a real problem of your site! Posting at the Tech-Forum doesn't change anything. In my opinion, you loose a lot of members just because of that.

what are your tech's doing? You got members who wouldn't let this happen ;)

i think the live software or the webserver causes the problems.

Dear, plz fix these problems soon! The more guys are unhappy about the site the more will post negative statements about the site at the net!
Also, we're sick of it a little bit.

Believe me, we are really doing our best. But as you proberly noticed we gained a lot of new members recently, which made the server very busy. The techs are fixing the problems, but also looking what exactly caused it, to prevend it in the future. I really feel sorry for this :-(

As far as the broken link, the html was uploaded before the big zips were:-) Should work now

I understand your concerns, and I know your feelings, take my word that we are really working hard to make it all even better :-)

like i said, i feel bad to post such critical posts. I know you're doing your best and i appreciate it a lot. But plz understand, i am a member a few days right now and i do not have the time to see all your shows... and if i am able to, it often doesn't work ;( .

Well, i guess i was very angry that day, cuz i was looking forward to have a nice show evening.

What i actually don't understand is, that live shows suck, even if there are not many people logged in. You already locked multiple downloads...
If i could understand the problem, i wouldn't complain.

So, maybe i just gotta calm down :crazy

I understand how you feel Zulu, last night i couldn't reconnect to Lana's show, but i think this is only a temp problem.

I suspecd that the change in software is causing this. It seems to me that the chatsoftware now remembers your visit. When you reconnect you don't have to fill in your name for the second (trird, fourth etc) time.
Maby the software is filled to the max with chatguest that are not connected at that time anymore.

Like Felix said, maybe only a cache problem.

Masha, please ask the tech guys this, and tell them what Felix (and me) think.

this problem is gone by restarting the browser and getting new "My Live Cams" URL ;)

It's a cookie thing! so IP doesn't matter... I think cookie is combined with "Live Chat"-URL...

BTW fex: i'll get dynamic IP service...

Problems during Lana's show and seems to have gone very wrong now - Error 500.

Its a new update of software that makes those problems ..
We will try to reach creator of the soft asap but anyway we are looking for new software now.
