I'm new... i get on the live shows as rob. and i was just wondering if ivana could tell us more about herself? like, the blog on the website hasnt been updated in forever, and i want to know more about ivana's interests, hobbies, etc... i know a lot of you guys have been on the site for a long time, i feel like i have catching up to do. there is an ivana fukalot myspace, but i'm not sure it's real and even if it is, the 'about me' is just song lyrics and some apefight advertisement...:crazy all i know is that she's studying latin and english, her bf dan is a computer programmer, she's the prettiest girl in russia, and i have a feeling she likes elvis from her playing cards and one video 'hound dog' was playing in the background. i just wanna know basic things like hobbies, music, interests. if you have time. thnx

1. Movies? Oo, I enjoy of many different movies I ever seen..
the first good foreign film what I saw - "Edward scissors-hands" with young Johny Depp (actually my fav actor, except russian one..), "Rainman" with magic Dastin Hoffman as a Rainman - I enjoyed to see that movie without translation, to hear pure voices of Tom & Dastin not dubbed in Russian. "Eyes Wide Shut", "American beauty", "Requiem by dream", "The Beach" with Leo DeCaprio, "The Pianist", "Romper Stomper", "Sid & Nansy" & The "Forest Gump" r the bests from oldschool-foreign. :thumbsup:thumbsup
I also adore Mel Gobsons' movies "Apocalipto" & "Passion of the Christ" - I can't wait when Mel Gibson will direct new one!! His movies my fav!!pimp
But most of all, I love russian movies, many of them, for example "12" by Mikhalkov.. & weird films too, like "Euphoria".. hammersmashammersmas
Not many days ago I downloaded movie "Ashes & Snow" - strange work, I even dunno who is director.. but I like very much.. It's not like a movie, I dunno how can I say.. but it's good to see for relax..
& last good movie what I saw is "99 Franks" - Perfect!! :)

2. Tv-shows?? Hmm.. I usually wach evening news on news' channels & I adore one politic's programm (show) on opposite channel (I suppose that this channel is opposite to our Goverment, but I'm not sure.. it's just a television - big lie..), so the name "The Evening with Tigran" (Tigran is name of a leader of the show, I also suppose that he use cocaine sometimes before the showsouthpark).. I have seeing this show every day from Monday till Thursday at 23.00 for many month & even years (!!) & never lost, if I lost this time, I ask Dan to wach it & then tell me what did they talking abt :)) He he I'm a psyco :)
aaaw, forgot to tell abt "Dom2" (House#2)!!! :eek: That is silly russian Tv-show like "Big Brother", I like one guy from there, Rustam Kalganov his name, it's interesting to see his life, but last time he is absent, so I find the show is very bored now.. & I don't wach it more :crazy:cool:hammersmas

3.OOo, music!! I LOOOVE enought!! :music
I listening for music since I'm 4 years old, since my father played "vinyl plates" by gramophone.. that were "Modern talking", "the Beatles", "Pink floyd" & "The Rolling Stones" - music of my *****hood!! :thumbsup:thumbsup
Now I'm enjoy of voices of genius David Bowie :fire:fire:fire & sometimes of Nick Cave.. The Beatles & John Lennon are non-competition forever of course.. I also enjoy of sexy Elvis, his manner of singing is just wonderfull! :thumbsup Russian music is poor & I get mad when I hear modern russian music, it's just trash, but we have good glam-rock/brith-pop band "Mumiy Troll" what I listening since they made his first album near 8-9 years ago.. hammersmas:fireangelfly Frontman of this band was born & have been living in russian city Vladivostok, very far on East from Moscow & close to Japan, this sity stay on the sea (and Pacific ocean) & also close to China.. so this guy have specially mind, he lived there & also he spent near 7 years in one China's city.. & his songs r very strange & it's remind me romantic of magic sea-dolphins & unattainable snow-tops of mountins & love of japaniese's geish.. I dunno how to explain.. He also has strange lyrics at songs, so u won't understand the reason of phrases, but u'll have understand mood of the song.. hammersmas
I also like electronic, drum-n-bass & techno music very much.. but I can't to remeber names of Dj's, except foreign dj Orbital.. In summer I sometimes go to "russian Ibizza" place name "KaZantip", it's close to Ukraine :thumbsupclaphandsclaphands There lots of Dj's play fresh russian techno, & I download their music from internet from their official site & listening it in my walkman all days long :) :) :) awww, remeber! 4. Ooo, FOOD!! :) Good question, I like good tasty food & I adore to cook sometimes!! I enjoy of Italian food, Itallian herbs & their methods to prepare food :thumbsup toast I also love all Mediterranian's meals, & all vegetables & fruits what is grow there. I have been love "Sushi" for 2 years, but now not, I dunno why :) Of course I love russian tradition food - meal from meat, shrooms, potatoe, & rice (respect for rice, btw!!) etc. & I love to cook it by myself :) :crazy:D My favourite meal is Carp (river's fish) prepared in oven with magic delicios substance inside, made from mixed little shrimps with dor-blue cheese & dill & a bit of rosemary.. mmmm, tasty!!!!! :thumbsup:thumbsup:fire

6. hhm, u mean place where I usually go for vacation? :) KaZantip (I was there 2 times & this year my friends won't give me a chance do not go there..) & I love to visite my old grandma in little old country very far from Moscow (near 1 day by fast-train) There so scary & wonderfull at the same time!! U stay on the ground & look straight & only naked leas (fields) & your eyes is in pain, becouse u can't to see the end of the fields!! I relaxing there, not like in Moscow, there is a different world :thumbsup:cool:

8. Basketball I loooove, I have been play for 3 or 4 years, when I was a schoolgirl) I enjoed of this game, but I'm not go in for sports now, (except little exersises for goodlooking popa & belly ;)) sometimes I wach F1 by Tv, that is all sport what I have!! he he :)

9. Games? I like chess & play with my bf & friends when they visite me, but I play not well I suppose.. southpark If u mean Computer-games I looove "Heroes of might & magic"(#3 & #5 the best) - the best strategy I ever play & also "Warcraft" (last part the best)- I have buttles with my bf by home-lan :) :)

Movies: usually action, fantasy, sci-fi, historical movies and comedies that are so stupid they are funny....all the Star Wars movies, the Terminator movies, Excalibur, Conan the Barbarian, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Spider-man movies, X-Men movies, Russian movies Nightwatch & Daywatch, Saving Private Ryan, Lost Boys, zombie movies, Highlander (only the 1st one...the rest sucks), Indiana Jones movies, Dumb & Dumber, Naked Gun trilogy, Amazon Women on the Moon (best stupid movie of all time), and countless others. Like Ivy I also like Mel Gibson movies (the Patriot & Lethal Weapon movies my favs of his).
Also I like Harrison Ford movies.

TV shows: Married with *****ren is my favorite of all time (I have the 1st eight seasons on DVD & I just started downloading the Russian version of it called Счастливы вместе...Sсhastlivy Vmeste....it means Happy Together)
I also watch Heroes...many thanks to Lana for introducing me to it!
A great show on Discovery channel called Mythbusters, where they do scientific tests to determine if certain myths are true or not.
I watch the history channel & animal planet alot too just because I love history & animals.
I also watch that fake pro wrestling stuff (been watching that since I was 6 years old:wow:)


Music: METAL!!!
some of my favorite bands being Doro, Def Leppard, Aria, Rammstein, Megadeth, Anthrax, Rush, Motley Crue, & Disturbed
I also appreciate classical music, mostly Beethoven

Food: just like Ivy.....Italian is the best!! I'm more of a pasta guy than veggie guy though.
Also love good old fattening burgers, pizza, & seafood.

Vacation: just got back a couple of weeks ago from Tampa & St Petersburgh Florida.....I saw Doro there :wow:

-movies: The Shawshank Redemption is my favorite altogether, Man on Fire great story, The Butterfly Effect dark and thought-provoking, Borat:thumbsup"very nice", Forrest Gump:crazy, Pulp Fictionpimp, any Star Warsstarwars, The Lives of Others and Der Untergang(great German films from last few years my dad introduced me to.), Superbad:wow:, Apocalypse Now was very deep, The Good the Bad and the Ugly. i've been watching a lot of movies lately since it's winter and there's not much else to do.

-tv shows: Aqua Teen Hunger force is a funny cartoon. enjoyed more with thc in your systemsouthpark i miss it:(. Simpsons, family guy, south park... Rob and Big is a very fun show on MTV. Seinfeld and Curb Your enthusiasm are both hilarious. no current tv so i dont really watch much.

-music: mostly oldies and rap(depends on mood). my mom and my babysitter used to always listen to the oldies radio station when i was a kid, and i just like rap... Artists? THE BEATLES!, beastie boys, 2pac, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, gnarls barkley, Beach Boys, Bob Marley, RUN D.M.C., Pink Floyd, The Temptations, Depeche Mode, Foreigner, Cake is weird and i like it. list could go very long so i'll stop now. right now i'm listening to "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins. my itunes would have to run 5 days without stopping to play all my music. i also like funny songs and skits. Catchy songs always stick in my head... currently "bleeding love" by leona lewis shootself. i hate it, but i love it in the back of my mind.

-food: just anything that reminds me of home. i miss our little local restauraunts... my friend where i am now, his wife is a great cook. i usually go to his house for lunch. They're from Puerto Rico. So, I guess I like puerto rican cuisine.

-color: Orange and Green (like bright neon for each)

-vacations spot: My favorite vacation ever was spring break from school 2007 in Mexico. we went all over the place. it was great. can't ever be recreated. just great group of people(my "clase de espanol").

-memories of being young: haha, in fourth grade we spent all year learning how to play recorder. and had a big concert at the end of the year. last song, "ode to joy," by beethoven. i puked in front of everybody! all the dads were laughing and the moms were freaking out. looking back it's funny cause it caused a few other kids to puke too, lol, very funny.

-sports: played soccer really young. American football one year(i was horrible:(). I was a wrestler in high school. That's my favorite sport i did.

-games... board game would be risk. i play chess on computer but not like with friends. my video games are, 'MAFIA,' and coincidentally Warcraft 3. Definitely the best strategy game I've ever played and Strategy is my thing. I only play orc though, i suck with other races. that video with you playing WC3 before sex... SO HOTT!!! I've been playing that game forever. For sure if Ivana or Dan ever wanna lose sometime, they can play me:sarcastic JKJK.

-books: Guinness Book of World Records is always fun. history books. and some i read for school. like that one about the caterpillar. he was very hungry. yeah like lord of the flies and Ender's Game were my favs. required reading, i usually liked, but didnt care to sit around reading outside of school. i'd rather be out with my friends.

Ok, well, after such a fantastic effort from Miss I...


Movies:

Big Hollywood films are entertaining but I get the most enjoyment from films with good stories & plots, often the ones not well known. Too many I can't think of but maybe 'Ch1ldren of God' is a good example. If I were to pick a particular actor it might also be Johnny Depp or Al Pacino. Ridley Scott is my favourite director. Last film I saw at cinema was 'Rec' - Spanish zombie number. Challenging!

TV:

Mostly like documentaries but Lost and Heroes were excellent.

Music:

Impossible question. Although I was also a fan of Orbital back in the day. Incidentally it isn't a DJ but a band consisting of two brothers. Have good memories of doing a great show and then they helped pack the equipment away. Bands never do that!

I do enjoy vocal harmonies & now finding large choirs impress me. Really good pure female voices really do it and I think I might have fallen in love with singler/songwriter Dawn Landes at a recent show. She's visiting me again later this month.... :wow:

Food: Has to be hot - spicy. Curry, maybe Thai.

Colour (English spelling :p ) : Black. Blue for lights.

Vacation: French Alps.

Sport: Badminton (playing)

Books: Thriller, Adventure, Horror, Science Fiction. Douglas Preston/Lincoln Ch1ld (god - that's twice I've hit the 'naughty' word filter here!).

TV shows: Married with *****ren is my favorite of all time (I have the 1st eight seasons on DVD & I just started downloading the Russian version of it called Счастливы вместе...Sсhastlivy Vmeste....it means Happy Together)
I also watch Heroes...many thanks to Lana for introducing me to it!
A great show on Discovery channel called Mythbusters, where they do scientific tests to determine if certain myths are true or not.
I watch the history channel & animal planet alot too just because I love history & animals.
I also watch that fake pro wrestling stuff (been watching that since I was 6 years old:wow:)

Vacation: just got back a couple of weeks ago from Tampa & St Petersburgh Florida.....I saw Doro there :wow:
I go almost every year to Kentucky & Tennessee for family reunions
Been to Michigan & Canada too
one day I will vacation to Europe......mainly the Czech Republic, Germany, & of course Russia :wow:

Sports: American football is my favorite with hockey being a close second (Tampa Bay Buccaneers & the Tampa Bay Lightning being my favorite teams from those sports)
I also watch F1 racing especially now that Michael Schumacher is retired and no longer makes it boring....I bet Ivy is so glad that her favorite driver Alonso is back home with Renault :wow:

I also like turn based strategy games....mostly based on WWII unlike the Real Time Strategy crap that is put out these days :crazy

it is old-school movie with Meril Strip, she played Czech's woman & she spoke with so nice accent(like russian), I was understand all words!!!! That was melody for my ears!! I saw the movie not many days ago, & the movie is very hard.. :(angelfly
