Maybe Smart car, but need Smart Dad with Smart Know-how to start car in cold weather. :hahaha
Maybe a good thing with temperatures at -30 that Marina did not show up. Would hate for car to breakdown away from home and Marina get frost bite in her vital points :thumbsup scrredd
How bizarre. Only last night I was wondering what tricks were used to keep cars running in such temperatures... kerosene in fuel? batteries kept inside on charge? It appears not :p

When I lived in upper Michigan, USA, We used engine block heaters that kept the oil from becoming sludge at extreme cold temps. Never had a problem starting the car.
Brrrrr Just been looking at news of Artic Weather in Moscow, I would not expect any of our girls to venture out into such conditions to risk their health getting to webcam. It is coldest period since 1978!!!!!!
I loved this story :)
Moscow's coldest spell in 26 years brought out the quirkiest in the Russian character with one animal trainer feeding an elephant a bucket of vodka to warm it up -- only to watch the drunken beast set about wrecking the central heating system. elephant elephant elephant :D

ITS FREEEEEEZY .. You cant be outside more then 5 mins
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, must make a phone call
"A RUSSIAN man braved his country's deadly big freeze to make a mobile phone call - and ended up losing four fingers to frostbite.
He went outside for just 20 minutes to chat to his family but it was enough to give him severe frostbite in his right hand.
Doctors in Saransk, central Russia, told him they had no choice but to amputate his fingers."
Moscow's traditional traffic jams disappeared as thousands of drivers couldn't get their cars started. There were reports of crafty locals hiring out jump leads to frustrated motorists.
Marina was not the only one who could not get their car started. :( :(
We in Britian should not take it so lightly, the cold front is coming our way. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr.
