Nice to see red squirrels. They are very rare now in UK - I have never seen one. Even though they are native they are being replaced by the evil North American grey squirrel. Bad squirrel :p

Both: red & grey were in my garden, struggling for my 2 nut-trees; took them 2 days to pick them empty, same time digging like hell to perforate my whole lawn. I was lucky to keep my own nuts somehow safe in my pants...

I saw a red squirrel similar to Ora`s pic, many years ago, it looked very odd then too....In my city, we have thousands of red squirrels,"evil North American ones", hundreds of racoons, skunks all over the place, deer, coyote`s,opposums, and some rats...ofcourse....Oh....almost forgot....Red Foxes!....Tally Ho!.....Some ass-holes up here still take a team of horses and dogs....and go chasing after the poor little bastards....rediculous.....And in all my years of driving, I`ve hit a snapping turtle...about 70cm in length, An otter, I believe, or some weird little creature, probably the last of it`s kind...that I`d never seen before, and a Large Coyote....I plowed them down...never even saw them until it was too late...I`ve been very lucky not to plow into a White-Tail deer....many close calls.....I see those dumb deer almost every night munching on the grass, not 450 meters from the Daimler-Chrysler head-quarters here in Auborn Hills, Michigan....Blah Blah Blah sorry....elusive Advertising does Suck..... hammersmas
